About 1.5 weeks ago I posted about the possibility that I may get a 5522 if someone did not pick it up. WELL it is OFFICIAL, I just sent the wire today and I am the proud owner of a 5522!!!! Rolex DD for a 5127? Pros and cons?
I'm interested in a PP 5127 (R or J) and I would likely trade my Rolex DD toward the PP. I understand they're different watches, but is this a good idea?I've seen service times on Pateks taking up to 17 months and people worrying about wearing them regularly. I'd expect mine to be (mostly) a daily wear watch. Is this crazy? Rolexes can be serviced fairly easily and quickly and they're not generally regarded as safe queen watches. Again, I know they're different, but can I expect a totally different ownership experience?Thanks for your thoughts.

Hi everyone, this is my first post here and I can't seem to make up my mind. I love sport watches as they are a majority of my collection which consists of a Rolex Sub, AP ROC, and PP: 5227j, 5712/1A, 5726a. Im also open to other suggestions as well but for now I'm just considering the 5980 white dial and the 5164. Thanks!
