Earlier this year A. Lange & Sohne announced a limited edition collection of (even more) decorated watches as homages of the 165th anniversary of their founder, Ferdinand Adolph (F.A.) Lange. In 1845 Mr. Lange moved from Dresden to the nearby small mountain town of Glashutte. As Lange likes to see it, history was then born!The 165 Years - Homage to F.A. Luminor in 38mm?!
Anyone else excited about the luminor being available in a 38mm? I've always liked Panerai but didn't think it would work on my 6.5 in wrists. Now maybe I have a chance !!

Flipping
Stop it. Just stop. I'm speaking to those that are regular consumers like myself who are fortunate enough to have the opportunity to buy a premium piece aka hard-to-get piece at an AD for retail.My advice to you if you fall into this category is to not flip the watch. Either pass, or keep. There are unintended consequences of your decision to flip a watch. AD's could and will literally lose the Rolex line. It's happened, it will happen again, and we are responsible if we are part of this problem.There are many, many negative outcomes that may play out as a result of flipping. For what? $5 grand? An easy $5 grand sounds nice, and while that may be on the higher end, it is possible. Looking at the big picture though, it's nothing and it's not worth it.

Is there an "Optimal" wrist size...???
When Rolex (Or any other watch company for that matter) designs a watch, I wonder if they have an optimal wrist size in mind...???
