DJii-116334-Rhodium Dial-Diamond Index-SS-Oyster Band
Hi all, new to the forums here....I will be purchasing this watch as my very 1st Rolex on Friday.I will be using it for daily use around the office. My question is: With this being a retired model and with the semi-newly released DJ41 & all of its updated features- Will that have any affect on the value/demand of this model over time? I don't ever plan on selling the watch, but I do want to have the peace of mind of knowing that in a WCS I will always be able to get back what I paid or at least close to it for that matter. Personally, I'm not at all a watch connoisseur so the new movement, refined stick, and other features the DJ41 offers does not appeal to me. I'm strictly going for what is most attractive to me looks wise. I love the thicker case that the DJiis presents and considering it being a bit more inside of my preferred budget I am just about 100% sold on it.Any advice/feedback provided would be greatly appreciated. As I said before, I'm a first time buyer so I would like
Second watch ideas?
Hi gents, new to the forums.I currently own a 2017 white dial ceramic Daytona and adore it. My only other watch is a 1990 Cartier Panthere which my father gave me and seldom wear as it is very dressy and very feminine.I have enough to buy a vintage Datejust and keep considering this and the Explorer 1.Does anyone have either the Daytona and DJ/Explorer 1 and enjoys/regrets having both? Clearly I love the Daytona, but wanted something to rotate it with. My other thought was to buy a Breitling Navitmer as I've always loved it.Your thoughts and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
