Hi guys - It's been a while since I had time to sit in front of the computer and dedicate time to sharing my newest addition... (my 2nd AP since joining this forum - first was a 15400)I just ordered the horn back strap w/ red stitching.. on its wayHope you all enjoy A few impressions:* I find the watch incredibly attractive - I glance at it without checking the time - good sign * I've had it for about a month now and it keeps time perfectly * took a little while to get used to the weight of the ROO - very pleased* the presence of the Panda is just amazingHave a great weekend!

Speedmaster Date (3210.50) inbound . . .
Well, I ended up with two Railmasters (36.2mm and 39.2mm). I thought about keeping both, but after trading PMs with another TRF member with a smaller wrist, I decided to sell him my lovely 36.2mm Railmaster. Well, not wanting my little growing collection to shrink, I decided to take a hard look at Speedmasters. After holding both a black and white version in my hand at the local AD, I decided on the Speedmaster Date with black dial (3210.50). So, since I wanted a bigger discount than that offered by my local AD and also wanted to save sales tax, I called my out-of-state AD and one is now on its way. It'll be here tomorrow. I will post photos of it's arrival . . .

Sorry for lousy pictures - shot it off my TV while watching the show just now. Season22/Episode9. Saw this and thought the story was unbelievable. Guy takes this off his wrist at the show - gifted by his uncle in 1975 - over 40 years ago. Guy never knew about Rolex but wore it almost daily since then. His wrist gives good evidence...2 years ago the Rolex dealer told him if he serviced it, they would replace the dial So he went to an indy for service. It is from 1963-64 per s/n - early gilt underline dial per the appraiser, Peter Planes, from Royce Estate Buyers in Palm Beach, FL. Would be worth $10-12K if he had it serviced by Rolex with replaced dial and bezel insert. But in this current untouched original condition, worth $50K retail as long as he doesn't touch it. And if the dial had not oxidized so much and was perfect it would have fetched upwards of $100K Good Grief said the guy. I think the indy watchmaker may have replaced the date wheel because it is so white. Just sharing

Which carrier would you choose to ship a Tudor from USA to Switzerland?
I'm selling a Tudor right now and the buyer is located in Zurich, Switzerland (I'll be shipping it from Texas). I've never shipped internationally before and am a bit nervous about it. For those that regularly ship internationally, which carrier would you recommend? I'd like to be able to insure the package, but I've heard there are insurance limits on international shipping. Is that somewhat accurate?Thank you in advance for the help.
