Girard-Perregaux Sport Classique Laureato Evo 3 Large Date Watch Available On James List
I never thought much about the Girard-Perregaux Laureato Evo 3 watches until I was able to get my hands on one. They just weren't of the type of design that visually stands out to me. They felt a bit on the "older" side of sport watches like the Vacheron Constantin Overseas models. Then I was able to actually put one on my wrist and I saw a lot of value that was originally lost to me. One of the things that the Laureato Evo 3 does well is present a good looking three dimensional dial. Nothing is flat on it. Basically, most cheap watches look cheap because they have flat printed dials with hands floating over them (too simple to really look good these days). Look at the dial here for example and it basically the opposite. Romain Jerome Moon Dust-DNA Mood Series Watches
Sometimes I wonder if Romain Jerome has a watch design sweatshop, hard at work coming out with seemingly fresh derivative models. Other times I think that Romain Jerome's Yvan Arpa just sits in a room and fleshes out all the designs while watching science fiction TV from the mid 20th century. We may never know, but that is part of the mystery behind Romain Jerome watches, one of the only watch companies to do really well financially last year. Well? this new line of Moon Dust DNA watches is more that just a derivative of the others. I basically think that Romain Jerome has promised its customers, "that we will release no fewer that 27 variations on each design!" Gone on the Sputnik inspired hands, here are hands based on the more modern looking antenna and vanes uses on other satellites and the space station. An interesting look to say the least. im am glad to say that after owning numerous different brands, i am now officially an omega owner. just order the planet ocean chrono. narrowed it down to that and the breitling seawolf avenger, and in person, there is absolutelyyyyyyyyyyyyyy no comparison. omega is all class.
