There is often a misconception that content online is either free or up for grabs. Most of us are well skilled in the art of copying and pasting, and we take its functionality for granted. Often times taking other people's content, we seldom stop to think of the implications. Granted, this is not my personal opinion of the appropriateness of such conduct, more an attempt to enlighten those who are not aware of their actions.Whether or not it has an accompanying copyright registration with the Federal Government, all original works of authorship posted online have inherent copyright protection. This means that it belongs to the author who created or owns the content, and that others may not make use of it freely.Essentially, copyright protection means an author of a work has the exclusive right to profit and distribute the work. Here are a couple of photos of the newest addition to my watch collection. My very first AP! For the some time, I was torn time between the black and white dials. I've finally decided on the white and I am absolutely loving it. I can't stop admiring it. The way the light catches the different surfaces is simply mesmerizing!

Please help me understand ...
I'm trying to understand the love for Panerai. And I don't mean this at all disrespectfully. Stylistically, it's seems sorta pedestrian but also very utilitarian. I see them and don't really know what to think. I don't understand them but I want to understand them and why people love them. Is there some unique history, build quality, a certain utility element, production rarity? Again, I'd like to know more from people who appreciate them. Thanks.

16223 or 116223 Need Help! Your thoughts PLEASE
I am considering the purchase of a pre-owned two tone Datejust, either a late 90's 16223 or an early 116223 with fluted bezel, jubilee bracelet and white stick dial, full set. I pretty well know the differences in the two watches. I would appreciate some of your thoughts on the two choices. Price is not a big difference. What about the polished lugs on the newer style, that is one concern.
