Breaking News: Jean-Claude Biver Steps Down as CEO Of Hublot
We'd heard the rumors but couldn't believe it was true. Jean-Claude Biver, the man who has single-handedly made Hublot the powerhouse that it is, has stepped down as CEO. Replacing him will be his right-hand man and long-time managing director Ricardo Guadalupe, while Biver will remain on the board of directors, in fact he'll be Chairman of the board. Mr. Guadalupe took over as CEO on Jan 1, 2012 and it remains to be seen how the loss of Biver at the reigns will effect a brand so closely tied to him. Decisions on PP 5146 or AP 26470
I am deciding on either a Patek 5146 or AP 26470, though they are 2 different types of watch I can only get one right now. Which would you choose and why? The patek probably would hold value better vs. the AP , one is a dress watch the other casual but I think they both can be worn either way.Also do you think the newer version of the AP novelty is worth the extra money over the old version ? Other than the see thru caseback and ceramic pushers is their any other notable diffrences that make it more worth more buying over the older version ?

Are some Rolex Retail watches GPS tracked?
Almost every rolex robbery I recall reading that there are some of the goods that were tracked with GPS. I recall reading a few times that they find just the ones that have GPS trackers left behind. Seeing as how these robberies are often smash and grab (perhaps some with inside knowledge) and this from the display, does this mean some of the watches sold to customers have GPS trackers in them?
Rolex submariner - I finally brought my dream watch today
Hi guys,Just brought a brand new Rolex submariner from my local AD and I love it.What do you guys think?Ps. Sorry for the grainy photos I tried uploading much sharper ones but it kept telling me the file size was to big or the dimensions exceeds the limits.But regardless, so happy I finally got myself a Rolex. I don't think I'll ever take it off lol.It's flawless, the AD told me that you can tell the quality of a watch by putting it to your ear and the quieter it is the better. In a silent room with the watch right on my ear I can't hear a thing. Don't know how true his statement is but I know the cheap autos I've owned in the past have always made a loud tic toc sound.I love the double etched engraving on the rehult and the lume is fantastic. Anyway just wanted to share this with you all as I'm now part of the ROLEX club :)
