Incoming, my first AP (and watch)
Decided to celebrate end of 20s and new success in my career (new well paid job) with my first serious watch. Wanted the blue dial 15400 or 15202, went to the boutique in Geneva and was told that waiting times are at least 2 years for 15400 and 4 for 15202. Was shown some black dials and white dial RO but didn't like either, then the sales person tells me that they have a new boutique only edition the grey ruthenium dial and that it might be what I am looking for. Instantly fell in love with the grey ruthenium dial, couldn't stop staring at it all day. It keeps changing colors depending on the light, going from dark grey - silver grey - light grey - steel grey, its driving me a bit crazy , love the watch.Some photos under different lighting conditions in attachments.

Incoming 5524G
Today I got the call and was excited to pick this up right before Christmas. Sourcing this was much easier than expected and took just under one week from request to delivery. I had mentioned to my AD a few months ago that I would like one whenever they got one in, but I was buying a Christmas present for my wife this past Thursday in the store and said that I wanted it for sure. Since one hadn't come into the store, I asked if they could source it for me. I went home, and 3 hours later I got a call to say one would be delivered the following week. I was surprised when it arrived today to have my information already printed on the certificate of origin as I have never had one done that way before but it was a nice touch. The watch is just stunning. Its way heaver that I thought it would be (in a good way) and it's also thinner than expected (also in a good way). First impressions are that it's a keeper for sure and I think it's going to be my favorite watch. It is now for sure,

Need some opinions , please -- would you trade a 5726A for a 5146G ?
Have the Nautilus 5726A and contemplating this possible trade -- not sure yet. Not sure on lung run, how both 5726A and 5146G would fare --I have also the 5711/1A and 5960P and thinking if I should stick to Nautilus or go for a more dressy choice.What do you think?thanks in advance

The found a sticker weeks after I bought it my dog says hi thread.
Was fixin ( Texas folks will understand this ) to clean my new OP 39 with Vereat today when I saw that my caseback sticker was still on! Not earth shattering news but I thought I'd share with my friends here. Oh and my scraggly dog says hi. This is the winter version of her. Have a great weekend all!

Advice on a watch for a 75 year old
My dad turns 75 this year and to mark the occasion I'm thinking about giving him a decent watch.I can't decide whether to give him my GMT, or would it be more age appropriate to give him a TT Datejust?
