Guess Connect Smartwatch Styled By Guess And Powered By Martian Technology
The smartwatch field has definitely become a bit more crowded than when we started to write about it here a couple of years ago. Now that we have the "big boys" in the arena with Android Wear and the Apple Watch, everything that the little guys can do to differentiate themselves is certainly of benefit. To this end, we caught word that a new watch, the Guess?Connect (ostensibly a Martian smartwatch) picked up a 2015 CES Innovation Award.If you are not familiar with Martian, let me give you a quick introduction. Rather than focusing on full-screen displays, they have instead gone the route of creating analog (quartz-driven) watches that feature a small display in the lower part of the dial to give you notifications. About to buy my first AP. My choices are between the 26401 RG 44MM & 26470 RG 42MM with black alligator strap. Please advise which one is better? Is the 42MM prone to more scratches?

I very much want to defend Omega. I LOVE the two that I've got. But I just can't understand the thought process behind this watch. I just can't imagine it's going to have a large appeal. And this is going to be a watch that is produced in large numbers. Too big for a lady, and I can't imagine many dudes wearing an all white ceramic watch. To be honest, I kind of like the 4 new DSOTM black watches. I can see how they will sell. I can't see the white one having much appeal.

In search of Daytona in Beijing
I'm going to Beijing in a couple weeks. While I have been on the list at my local AD for some time, I'm losing hope in ever getting my hands on one. Does anyone know the relative availability of hard to find Rolex models (specifically the Daytona white dial) in Beijing? I'm prepared to pay a bit above list if that makes any difference. I know it's a long shot, but I would really appreciate any recommendations and/or connections. Many thanks!
