A Dream Visit to AP in Le Brassus, Switzerland - Part 2
A Singapore flag was flying outside AP's HQ What a hospitality!!!Read Part 1 here:The programme for our first day in Le Brassus was an intensive one. The first stop was to visit the museum, the high complication workshop as well as the Atelier de Restauration, all housed in the original AP building in Le Brassus. As some parts of the museums and facilities were not allowed to be photographed, and there were simply too many fascinating stuff to the extend of overwhelming, I could only share what I managed/bothered/allowed to see and shoot. This photo essay is thus rather candid with my personal experience about the tour no heavy details of history and watch models which could be found in books and catalogues!Let's go to the museum! ;) ================================================== ==============Day 2 - AP Museum, High Complication Workshop & Atelier de RestaurationIt was a beautiful sunny day with perfect blue sky and nice summer greenery all around the valley. Planet Ocean LiquidMetal! Here it is!
Hi All,I picked up my PO LiquidMetal this evening! For those who has followed my previous thread on why I held off from pulling the trigger, there was a QC issue with the one I was looking at last week (now back to Omega Swiss HQ for re-dial).A BNIB PO LiquidMetal was transferred from an interstate Boutique to my local branch. This one is perfect! Of course, armed with the loupe once again..this baby has ticked all the boxes in my stringent inspection and scrutinisation.I received first class service from the Boutique Manager herself (who by the way has followed up her promise in holding the watch for me with no deposit) and threw in a notepad and pen as a freebie! She even show me the latest arrival of the Speedmster Apollo 15 LE and let me tried on a dozen of watches! We had some small talk, and she admitted she is a she-WIS herself. I was not surprised when she identified my Speedy Broad Arrow. Attention Aussie members, she mentioned that the new POs will arrive in the Omega boutiqu
Discounts? Discounts? Boutiques discount?
Hello, those blue dial Datejust 41 are looking nice on the Rolex web site, but my local dealer is sold out. While they have a couple of subs on hand they say the blue dials are popular and sell out fast. BS? At any rate, that closest dealer to me here in Texas is a boutique and I'm wondering if they typically discount? While I don't mind paying full price I certainly don't want to pay more than should. I have seen instances on here where members state they received a substantial discount from a trusted seller yet I haven't been able to see any place that lists reputable venders, is there such a list? I would like a Datejust to share time with the sub I bought 12 years ago. Thanking you in advance for any constructive directives in obtaining my goal.

Need status, but very light, very comfortable and no catchy watch for daily suits. What do You think?
