The Breguet Classique Chronomtrie 7727 Takes The Top Prize At The 2014 Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Geneve (Plus Full List Of Winners)
Coming to you live from the grand theater in Geneva, watchmaking's top prize, the “AIGUILLE D’OR” has been presented to Breguet's Classique Chronométrie 7727. This simple appearing watch is anything but, and actually represents years of development, six new patents, and innovation in not only high-frequency calibers, but also magnetism and materials, all in a thin elegant case with welded lugs and an engine-turned dial that is true Breguet at its very core. Here we'll explain what makes this Breguet watch so special, and give you the list of each category winner at this year's Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Geneve. "AIGUILLE D'OR" C Breguet Classique Chronometrie 7727 2 OF 17 The Breguet Classique Chronométrie has so much going for it, and in such an understated package. First, Breguet's master watchmaker patented the concept of magnetic pivots on November 9, 2010. The magnetic pivots of this watch not only remove

Gents,Just looked through the 15202 tribute thread. A mistake. Anyways, this watch is very hard to locate as you all know. Did most of you guys buy sight unseen?I tried the 15400 - felt too large on my 6.5 wrist. Also tried the 15450, felt too small......but I'm sure trying that quickly after the 15400 at the same AD contributed to that small feeling. Anyways, want the blue. I know the 15300 probably rocks too but I'm really not a preowned guy. So that brings me to 15202 in the 39mm.I made the mistake of buying the VC overseas which has a similar vibe but is 42.. Flipped that shortly thereafter. Don't want that issue with the jumboThanks for reading

New member pleading for help on a 16713 Root Beer
Hello TRF!I am new to the forum but have been lurking for a very long time on TRF to build up my knowledge on watches. I am in my mid 20s and have finally saved up enough money, after meeting all my priorities, for a 16713 Root Beer. I will get the watch in the next few days and will be posting more pictures. I plan to give this to my father for his up coming birthday. He has been wanting a X serial (my birth year) Root Beer all his life but every time he had his chance to get the watch, he chose to spend the money on us. He is still holding on the 16713 Root Beer paper cut out I made for him when I was a kid so I know how much he wants that watch. In a few days I will finally get the watch. I am planning to get it to a watch maker who has a Rolex account to look at the watch. In the meantime, I am pleading the wise men of TRF for help and give me your opinions. The resolution of the pictures are not great and sometimes overblown, but please do your best to tell me if there are any re
