MB&F HM6 RT Watch In Red Gold
Recently, the Red Dot Design Awards for 2015 were held in Germany - and one of the big winners in the watch category was the MB&F HM6. MB&F was the only mechanical watch to earn a coveted Red Dot: Best of the Best award (the Apple Watch also won, but of course, it is not mechanical). In honor of that award, MB&F is releasing the second version of the HM6 known as the MB&F HM6 RT - which replaces the titanium case of the original MB&F Horological Machine No. 6 with one in 18k red gold. Not just any red gold, but one with palladium in it which stabilizes the copper. They call this alloy 5N+ (5N is the term for 18k red gold).What does that mean? It is basically the same concept as Rolex's Everose gold or Omega's Sedna rose gold. Lost Deployment Clasp Button 15202
I noticed this evening that one of my deployment clasp buttons had fallen off.Does anyone have experience getting this replaced at AP?I'm hoping for a quick in-house fix and not a 3 month turn-around to Florida for such a small part...Any thoughts?unnamed.jpg

Breaking stem and water resistance issues only for 5402 and cal. 2121?
So I have been looking at some of the 36mm ROs, and wanted to inquire further into whether AP had similar issues with the crown breaking off with models outside of the 5402, I also read in the sticky above that AP cannot certify water resistance in the 5402 following service, does this only apply to the 5402 or other models as well?For servicing out of warranty APs, can you tell AP to do movement only services like you can with the RSC, like tell them to leave the bezel, dial, etc alone and just service the movement and restore water resistance?I haven't had a chance to put a 36mm RO on my wrist yet but I have a 6.4 wrist so I'm thinking it would be better suited to me in diameter and thickness than a ROO. Also as I am looking for something to where for the most part with button downs and sport coats, it won't cause as much issue with cuffs but would like to have something that I have to worry over on a rainy day, remove while washing my hands or suffer a broken stem every other year f

why the the PO immediately start running??
just by handling it at the AD it immediately starts running?where as other mechanical watches such as rolex will never run unless wound or shaken repeatedly
