This month Panerai opened its first ever flagship store in the United States and I was lucky enough to go down to see the boutique for myself. The 2,200 square foot boutique is located in the heart of the Miami Design District – the innovative neighborhood being developed by Dacra, founded by entrepreneur Craig Robbins, and L Real Estate, a global real estate and development fund. 1 OF 17 The Miami Design District development is special in that it partners with prominent architects and artists to design the buildings and retail spaces. Each space is unique and creates an overall experience for the shopper. The Panerai boutique is located in an area called Palm Court, along with several other luxury brands such as Vacheron Constantin, IWC, Hublot, and Piaget (to name a few). The Breitling Chrono Superocean is a watch that was on my mind a while back. Having spent a lot of my time obsessing over Rolex I feel long over due for some variety, change and a true tool watch to keep the rest of my life. This watch has some neat features that are fairly useful and never owning an Automatic Chronograph in the past it seems the only way to go! Was always a huge fan of aviation or wanting to fly from the time I was a kid and also love the ocean and dive watches. This watch seems to have everything desired in one great looking package! Not to mention this brand has an excellent history behind them. What are pre owned prices like currently on this? Seems as if Breitling in general has some great deals due to the initial depreciation. 5296r-010 vs 5172r?
Guys,Former Patek owner here, looking to get another.I have been looking at these two particular models, and other than the 5227 1mm wider difference in case size and the double 12:00 o'clock markers of the 5296-010 vs the single of the 5227r, are there any other significant differences between these two models? I cannot find any. The 5296r is a bit less expensive on the gray market as well.For clarification, I am looking at the 5296r-010, not the 5296-001, which has a very different dial.Any help would be great. thank you.Dave

Hi everyone. Time for a new Pam and I'm having trouble deciding. 42mm is the size for me and I already had a 392. I like both the 523 and 535. Really like the steap and the dial on the 535 but GMT feature is not a big deal for me. I like the thought of a white dial on the 523 because all my other watches are black dials. Straps dont really matter because I can always change those up. Thoughts?

ADs in Dubai these days - better selection that US?
I have a friend currently in Dubai who has offered to watch hunting for me if I want him to. Does anyone have a recent sense of which ADs have the best selections? I've been staggered by the choice (even though a bit pricier than the US) when I've been there previously but its been a couple of years so no idea what current landscape is like and if extreme shortages of SS daytonas, Hulks etc are the same as in the US. Thanks for any tips!
