What can I expect from AP Boutique with my new watch?
Hello all,I am expecting a Boutique-only watch to arrive soon and I have a question about what happens to the watch when it arrives. Do the Boutique staff keep it in the back for me all wrapped up in whatever the factory sends it in? Does it go out on display until I physically go there and pick it up? This is my first AP, so can anybody shed light into if the watch arrives in some special package (the way a sealed PP does) or otherwise?I sometimes hear that people see a watch in the store (can't recall if it is the Boutique or AD) and the staff say sorry that watch is spoken for, it isn't for sale but people are still able to try it on. To be honest I don't like the idea of a bunch of other random people trying on my watch and playing around with it before I take delivery.Am I able to tell AP to keep it in the back and not have people testing it out while I wait for it to arrive? Although I really liked the design of the RO, I always assumed it would look too chunky on me. After wearing it around the store for a good half hour today, I realized I could not have been more wrong. Can anyone help me out with this watch? I bought this because it looks awesome but I really don't know much about them. Does everything look original or might some of the parts be replacements? I compared it to other examples and it looks original to me.I know for sure the crown was replaced as was the crystal and chrono hand as I have the originals that came with the watch.Feel free to PM me.
