Video: WatchTime Interviews Chopard’s Karl-Friedrich Scheufele
At the Baselworld watch fair in March, the online media team from our German sister site, watchtime.net, caught up with Chopard president Karl-Friedrich Scheufele for an exclusive video interview. Here, online editor Katharina M?schl speaks to Scheufele about the new Classic Manufactum and its new movement by Fleurier Ebauches, as well as Chopard’s push to incorporate more in-house movements in its collection and its investments in a new technological center in Fleurier. Click below to watch the video (conducted in German, with English subtitles added).
ROC for RO 15450
The clasp of the ROC does not conform well to my wrist due to the single fold clasp. Because of my small wrist, the clasp is is not centered and juts out a bit.It also leaves a mark on my wrist and not comfortable. In the same situation, would you trade or sell the ROC for a 15450?
defect on the dial of my new Speedy 60th Anniversary
Hey all, just wanted to get your thoughts on quality control at Omega. After a long wait and a significant deposit I finally received a 60th anniversary speedy. After liberating it from that monstrosity of a bracelet it came on, I really enjoyed it for about two weeks until I decided to check out the dial under the loupe (sometimes I just like to admire them close up, you know?).I immediately notice a splotch of white paint, admittedly the size of a pin prick and basically invisible to the naked eye, but very prominent under the loupe, right in the center of the lume plot at 12.It's not even its presence that bothers me so much. Like I said, it's practically invisible without magnification. However, I keep having this image in my head of an omega watchmaker examining it through a loupe while affixing the dial, noticing it (as it's obvious), and thinking to himself oh no bother, they'll probably never notice. For a watch that cost over $7,000, can't I reasonably expect a little more att

Patek Philippe quality control issue
Brought a brand new double seal 5390G in one of the authorise deal here in Hong Kong, cut the seal open myself at the shop, then brought it on the spot. Two days later find out there is some scratch on the gold rotor under the glass, go back to the dealer and say will send right back to swiss to fix it.have to wait at least one and half month.......what kind of quality control is that for a 65k usd watch?
