Money Shot: IWC Lands Two Starring Roles in Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps
IWC has secured another starring role on the big screen, this time in Oliver Stone's upcoming film Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps. The film is the long-awaited sequel to Stone’s 1987 Academy Award-winning Wall Street. LaBeouf’s character is a well-educated, talented, driven trader with a passion for the finer things in life. He wears the IWC Portuguese Perpetual Calendar, Ref. IW502303. Gekko, just out of prison and trying to save Wall Street from the financial meltdown he foresees, wears the IWC Da Vinci Perpetual Calendar Edition Kurt Klaus in rose gold, Ref. How Watch Makers Can Best Utilize iPhone And Other Mobile Apps
I was asked to give my opinion on how watch companies can best make sense of, and utilize iPhone applications by the IC-Agency over in Europe, that spends a lot of time trying to figure out how luxury brands should utilize the Internet. I do the same for watch companies so I was happy to think about the salient issue. PAM01537 - First Panerai
I stopped by the excellent Panerai Boutique (attached to the David Rosas watch boutique) while visiting Lisbon this week. While I had looked at Panerai's previously, I had not been too serious about purchasing one because I find most a little large for my wrist size. However the 42 mm models intrigued me and looking at the online I knew I wanted to try some on.While in the boutique, the extremely helpful but not at all pushy sales associate did a great job walking me through the different models. I indicated a GMT model would be of particular interest, especially in 42 mm. She showed me several, but the PAM01537 really caught my eye. I really liked the blue second hand that was added to this model. The Power Reserve indicator on the dial was also something I quite liked. The GMT function with the forward and reverse quick 1 hour adjustments was also very slick. I thought it fit my wrist well too. The sales associate made me take a long hard look at the larger models as she ind
