Help Verifying Breitling Authenticity
Not sure if this is the right section for this. I've already posted it in the watch out section as well. This may get more views though? Would anyone be willing to take a look at this auction and give me their opinion on the authenticity of this Breitling on eBay? Looks legit to my untrained eye. Seller has responded promptly to two emails of my questions. Are there any specific questions I should be asking? Any help is much appreciated!.ebay/itm/232018513107...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
Constellation double eagle
I am on the hunt for a new watch. I wanted a Rolex anniversary sub but don't like buying used watches.Far off from that vision i saw the carbon faced Double Eagle. They are under $4000 and even close to $3000 on EBAY brand new. I have no problem with the non AD deal although 2 of them in the mid 3's are AD.Anyway, what is the deal for a non watch tech person in regards to the movement I have read about? Are there more then one version? Anybody have real world experience with watch as they are a few years old at this point???Does it wear as a large watch? Thanks any help is greatly appreciated
Old Omega returns, at last
Well, after waiting for over 6 months, I've finally got my old 30T2 back from a comprehensive overhaul / service. It was actually serviced just before that, but I made the mistake of trusting a so called 'Omega specialist' in my home-town, partly for convenience and partly as he came recommended via a friend. Anyway, after getting the watch back from this chap, I wasn't happy and returned it to him to make good. It was running 3-4 mins !!! a day fast, and winding was very difficult, with a very tight / rough crown movement. He improved it by about a minute, but after three return visits, I gave up and decided to send it to the watchmaker who services my vintage Subs.He found all manner of horrors, and ended up replacing the crown/stem, various movement parts and using some tiny weighted washers to compensate for a less than perfect balance (very difficult to find a replacement apparently, and quite expensive too). End result was within 25 secs / day, and winding as smooth as you lik

Relaxing Sunday Night with the 36mm Oyster Perpetual
This is my one and only Rolex that I purchased last year and I still find myself staring at this dial. I know it's not one of the more popular models like the sub or DJ, but it is the perfect fit for me. I've worn it every day since I purchased it from DavidSW. I thought some of you might enjoy a few wrist shots. Have a great week!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
