Is there anyone in Beverly Hills that can take a look at a AP for me?
Hello, I am looking to buy an AP from a shop in Beverly Hills, I live in Calgary Canada. Is there anyone local that can go take a look? I'd be happy to pay you for your time. Thank you.
Omega Service and certificate
I am about to service my omega 3510.50. Omega quoted me $900 for overhaul and a new hesalite and bezel. The watch buyers group quoted me $400-$800 with out a new bezel. Omega said for an additional $150 they would give me a certificate stating where and when the watch was made. And it would be signed by the omega president. Considering I paid 1k for the watch is this certificate necessary? It would probably help with resale down the line. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Incoming...We Have A Winner
Thanks for all who offered their thoughts and suggestions for the appropriate Calatrava. And a special thanks to LawrenceB for having the right watch at the right time for the right price:Forgive the schmarttfone pics but you get the idea! 6 hours on the wrist and I'm still loving it (duh!)
5070g
Hi Guys & Gals : Never had the opportunity to own a PP but have one now. Being offered a 2008 LNIB 5070G for 65K. I absolutely love the numerals and the chrono with the pushers and the 42MM size. Love big watches. I am looking for advise on the watch, pros & cons also do you think it'll hold its value down the line. Pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, SamSamsung Tablet
When Did Rolex Stop Supplying Black Bay Rose Blue Bezels to ADs?
EDIT: I meant blue bezel, not blue dialIf an AD has a new Black Bay 79220B in its cases, whats the least amount of time its been there, i.e., when was Rolex last sending that model to ADs?I'm wondering how long its been sitting in the AD case and how badly the AD wants to get it out of their cases so they can invest the money into other stock.
