Ball Watches Get High (UP) With The New Engineer Master II Aviator GMT
Surprisingly, Ball Watch Co. is about to release a relatively straight-forward and simple watch. I am a big fan of the brand, but lately their new watches have been getting functionally (and cosmetically) more and more complex. I always have appreciated their simple masculine looks that weren't trying to hard to be something they were not. From the a mechanical thermometer, to complex chronographs, and multi-timezone laden watches; Ball does have some interesting offerings. Even the lauded Engineer Master line has been getting visually more complicated. Now Ball has changed directions a bit and taken a bit more of a conservative approach. Is the ROO Diver more durable than a 15300?
Hi All,I've had a 15300 for around a year now and have had a lot of issues with the durability of the watch. I love the look of it, and am thinking about trading up to a ROO Diver, but are there extra measures to make sure it is durable in place? I know it has the same movement as the 15300/400 series.Or should I not expect any Royal Oak to be as durable as a Submariner?(Note, when I speak of durability I mean wearing it playing sports and having issues)Thanks!
Omega SMP back from Service.
Finally got my 2594.52 back from Omega and they did a nice job. Wondering why I didn't get a copy of the plus or minus seconds per day on that white sheet of paper I have seen shown in here fro time to time. It's on Omegas letterhead? Also shown is my 20th anniversary Speedy which I really like! Sorry about the lousy pics!
Planet Ocean Liquid metal...?
Been offered a planet ocean liquid metal bnib at 3580 looks good but is it a good buy? I hear it's hard to get hold of and ltd in numbers. Is it a future collectable? Second one I've seen make the shop window and seems like the recent price increase hasn't been put on to it...?
