My Bremont Martin-Baker Watch Article On AskMen.com
I can really appreciate this watch from a functional level. Truth be told,? I don't think that Bremont had to do too much new stuff to make the Bremont Martin-Baker MB-1 or MB-2 watches as durable as they are. It was more a matter of applying existing techniques to make the watch as durable as it is. The difference really is in the physical testing that the watches underwent to test out their durability. Basically they can survive the uber amount of g-forces you experience when being ejected out of an airplane via ejection seat, and the subsequent jerky ride back to Earth. The MB-1 model is only given to people who undergo this journey in a real life situation. The MB-2 model is available to everyone else, and is just a little by different cosmetically. Decent looking watches as well, with that now signature, Bremont style.See my Bremont Martin-Baker watch article on AskMenwatches-dealer here.See Bremont watches on eBay here.See Bremont watches on Amazon here. Whops.... bought yet another!
So I had this little mishap today, suddenly I find myself without owning any Rolexes but suddenly three AP's. The latest addition today was this one:So now it's basically down to these:I haven't used my camera for what feels like an eternity, so the pictures didn't really work out all that well but you get the gist of it.Thanks for looking!
Zeroing in on a 105.012
Hi Guys! 1. I have managed to zero-in on a 105.012. Just wanted to hear your thoughts on the seller's pitch for the item: The bezel is the nicest bezel I have seen on a Speedmaster 321. It has the correct little dot above the 90. I have seen the bezel with the correct dot sell for over $1800 on eBay by itself. The watch comes with the original bracelet, although one of the endlinks was dented pretty bad (better that the endlink be dented rather than the watch)! I bought replacement aftermarket endlinks, which look perfect. The bracelet is the correct Omega 1039 bracelet with a 3/67 date (3rd quarter of 1967). The bracelets were made by Gay Freres and often sell for about $1,000 by themselves. The bracelet is in really good shape. The watch comes with the COA from Omega, which states that it was produced August 23rd, 1967 and delivered to the United States. I had the crystal replaced with an original Omega hesalite crystal. I can include the original Omega crystal if you would like, but
Watch Photos Part 8
Hi. This is the final watch in my Omega Collection upto 2011. Its the 38mm Red Gold and Stainless Steel Constellation with the Cal 8500 movement. Not the most Popular Omega watch in Europe or the USA but by far Omegas best seller in Asia and when you see it in person I think you can see why. The larger 38mm size just fits nicely on my 8.5 wrist. I have had a bit of fun trying to vary the photos a bit this time. Hope you enjoy
