Introducing The Bremont Boeing Model 247, A Chronograph Containing Real Aviation Technology (Live Pi
Few brands have modern ties to aviation as authentic as Bremont. The two founders are both pilots themselves, the company makes watches for military and stunt pilots around the world, and even the name is the result of an emergency landing executed by brothers Nick and Giles English during a flight over France. Now Bremont has paired up with American aviation giant Boeing to create a special collection of watches that take advantage of materials developed in Boeing's UK-based Advanced Manufacturing Research Center. Today we'll introduce you to the collaboration as well as give you a hands-on look at the Model 247, one of two watches to launch this new collection.? 2 OF 7 Boeing has never given its name to a consumer product like this before. Sure, you could buy model Boeing airplanes and maybe a t-shirt or baseball cap, but nothing like the Bremont Boeing watches. It might have been easy to execute a simple branding exercise, but neither Bremont nor Boeing wanted to go do
Diver Questions in General. Any pics of well worn (aged) Divers?
Do any of you guys have pics of well worn divers? Wondering how they age. I'm not looking for a watch I have to polish, but like the ones that develop a hairline patina. I'm not talking gouges, dents, etc.I like Rolex and Panerai, because they age well. I want to wear my watches without much concern. I'm OCD about dials and hands, but I like the case to have its own wabi sabi. So, I want to understand differences between divers also15710ST.OO.A002CA.01--display back--stamped matte dial--barely thicker15703ST.OO.A002CA.01--solid back--machined glossy dial--barely thinnerIs the movement finished exactly the same with the 15703 v 15710? I know the 15703 is covered, but I can't find any pictures of the 15703 movement in the watch with the caseback removed.Thanks.
Perfect Patek?
I'm thinking about watch #2. Tend towards the sportier ones. 5712 is my current favorite Nautilus but I can't handle the day on face and not in a window. From a technical perspective is it hard for a manufacturer to put the date in a window? What is your perfect Patek? For me 5712 hits:Pros:Micro rotor with saphire backAmazing blue dialMoon complicationPower reserve complicationCons:Day on face of dial (not is a window)Small second hand (prefer centered second hand)So the closest thing to perfection for me is the 5960. It would be a stretch for me financially and for my comfort zone of actually wearing it. So sub $30K or $35K what is the best current Patek?

Milgauss and Marriage
Hi Everyone, For several years, I am wanting to buy a Rolex Milgauss with blue dial. However, my wife is very against this idea. She thinks that Rolex is a waste of money. I make 100% of income. I have enough saving to buy the watch in cash (actually my saving is 20 times watch price). I have already explained this argument to my wife. I am considering options1,,, Leave my wife and purchase Rolex 2,,, Buy Rolex but keep hidden from my wife 3,,, Stay with my wife and give up on my Rolex dreamWhat do you think?
