Bremont Codebreaker Limited Edition Watch Announced
Bremont just announced its latest limited edition piece, the Codebreaker watch. Much like the?EP-120, the P-51, and last year's Victory, this new model follows Bremont's pattern of creating limited edition watches that are connected to famous military icons and often incorporate materials sourced from specific historic examples. The Codebreaker commemorates Bletchley Park's involvement in World War II military intelligence. Essentially the headquarters for British code breaking and decryption, Bletchley Park is responsible for unlocking the secrets of the German Enigma and Lorenz machines, which helped to greatly expedite the end of the war. Bremont is paying tribute to the successes of Bletchley Park by designing a watch that not only looks the part but also incorporates actual physical elements from Bletchley Park and the technologies they helped to develop (or crack). Watch sent January 8, returned for pickup January 31. Yes, I have had a few issues with the 3120 but AP takes care of them very promptly.

Polishing a PP
Is polishing a PP a good or bad thing? Background: I am getting serious about pulling trigger on a used 5146, can't decide WG or YG. A few have shown up here by trusted sellers and polishing is an option on used.If PP is in pretty good shape with no obvious flaws is there benefit or drawback to polishing it?Thanks
After eight years of absence... A Rolex is on its way to my house!
You don't know me today, but I joined The Rolex Forum in 2009. I was the proud new owner of a GMT II with a ceramic bezel. Then something weird happened: after wearing my GMT for few months, I looked down at it one day and realized it just wasn't the watch for me! I figured I had gone wrong in the head. I mean, everyone loves that watch, right?Anyhow, I went back to my Speedmaster Pro, and you haven't seen hide nor hair of me here since then.Well, last night I sent funds for an Explorer, reference 214270, the version known as Mark 1. It should be here Thursday, so I'll report back soon. I'm looking forward to rejoining the Rolex Forum community!Merry Christmas to members who celebrate it :-)I swiped one of the seller's photos:
