Hands-On: With The A. Lange & S?hne Lange 1 Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar Handwerkskunst (Live P
Last week, Blake brought you some of the earliest live photos of the new Lange 1 Moonphase anywhere on the net and today we're back with an early live look at another beauty from Lange C this time a real monster. ?We say that because this watch, the Lange 1 Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar, sits very high up on the wishlist of many a Lange collector, with its innovative?self-winding perpetual calendar, and hidden tourbillon with patented stop-seconds. But this is the special "Handwerkskunst," or hand-worked, version of this mega-watch, and I got the chance to see it in the metal just this morning in Palm Beach, at Lange's only North American boutique. 2 OF 20 This is the second benchmark Lange to receive the Handwerkskunst treatment C the first was the white gold Zeitwerk, which, one year ago to the day,?we published live photos of here. The solid white gold dial is completely hand decorated, using a rare combination of tremblage and relief engraving. The result is just rema

NEW Diver landed this weekend
First I want to take the time to thank everyone here for the warm wishes and all the pics they posted of their Divers. Everyone has been great in answering questions and welcoming me to the AP section of the forum. So thank you to all.I ended up purchasing my Diver from Mosco (Greg). He has been a great friend of mine over the last several years and it was nice to be able to give him some of my limited business. I dont purchase a large amount of watches so when i do if i can buy one from a buddy that makes it better for me. Obviously there are several great TRF dealers here that could have taken care of me and some even offered (Davidson for one). But I just had to get it from Greg. I hate to drive it in the ground but he was outstanding to deal with. (for those of you who have not dealt with him) If you NEED a diver, contact Mosco cause i think he has a few incoming if not just laying around. Thanks again and here is ONE crappy iphone pic. but ill post more in the future.
Ok, so I THINK I know the answer but....
I just got a white dialed Rolex Datejust a couple of months ago. To the dismay of my wife, I'm thinking of adding another nice watch to my household. [Hey, I just turned 52, complex anyone...?] Anyway, I want a black dialed moonphase chrono. So, there is the Omega Speedmaster, or the Longines moonphase, costing about $1,500 less. Gotta get the Omega, right??
polished, brushed questions.
I'm interested in buying a Panerai. I am new to this brand as I just started to see the models in the photos I would like to know when talking about cases and bezel that there is a difference between polished steel and brushed titanium. I guess the polished is brighter but I want to be sure. I also do not understand when in 1351 they speak of polished titanium. Is it as bright as polished steel? Thank you.
