ETERNA Super KonTiki Chronograph
Eterna C Super KonTiki ChronographAlmost 70 years ago, Norwegian Thor Heyerdahl (1914-2002) and his five-man crew crossed the Pacific Ocean reaching the atoll of Raroia in 101 days. They sailed from the Peruvian coast to Polynesia on board a balsa raft inspired by American Indian boats and called "Kon-Tiki". This human feat sparked Eterna's imagination to create a collection of sturdy watches just like the Super KonTiki Chronograph. Its 45mm steel case topped by a rotating graduated black bezel houses the self-winding Eterna 3916A calibre which fuels a 65-hour power reserve, time, date and flyback chronograph functions. The hours and minutes tick by in the middle of the matt black dial whilst the seconds appear in a counter at 9. The date display is at 6, the chronograph seconds in the centre and the minute counter is at 3.Price: 4,600 CHF (rubber strap) C 4,800 CHF (mesh strap)By Sharmila Bertineterna
Introducing: The Tudor Heritage Black Bay Dark, PVD-Coated, 41 mm, In-House, And Chronometer Certified (Official U.S. Pricing)
Hot off the news that we'd see the Black Bay go bronze, 43 mm, and in-house late last night, we now have another Heritage Black Bay in something we'd never thought we'd see – a PVD case! On top of that, it's COSC certified, 41 mm, and in-house. A lot to like here, people. 1 OF 3 While yesterday's Bronze Black Bay was upped to 43 mm, the Dark remains at the familiar and welcomed 41 mm diameter. The case is steel but treated with PVD, a practice that, to be honest, feels a little outdated when we now have DLC, and indeed the possibility of ceramic cases (which Tudor themselves offer). The case is entirely satin finished and a matching black bracelet is an option here. What's more is that this Black Bay comes with the manufacture movement MT5602, which offers up a healthy 70-hour power reserve. What's more, this watch is actually chronometer certified! 2 OF 33 OF 3 The watch is offered on a black PVD bracelet or distressed leat
Water resistance test before the 2 years expire...
Hi everyoneAs my 15300 is on it's way, I wanted to validate couple of things with you. Watch has been originally sold June 2011, so this coming june, it will be 2 years old. I have read on the AP website that if it is sent to the APSC for testing water resistance, they give a 3rd year of warranty.Questions I had is1: is it recommended to do anything else, I suppose no but ...2: will they refresh the case, bezel and bracelet to bring it to a like new ?3: how long does it take ?Reason I am asking is that the watch I got is pre-owned with some little marks on the bezel that I would like them removed at the same time, really nothing to worry about but just wanted your input.Cheers,
replace SMP bracelet
Does anyone know if a 20mm planet ocean bracelet fit on a SMP? I know the widths are the same but I'm not sure if it'll match.
Request for PAM 392 vs SubC size comparison
Hi All,I am debating between the 40mm PAM48 vs the 42mm PAM392.Anyone has a side by side comparison of the 392 vs the submariner or Speedmaster?Would like wrist shot and far away if possible.Max limit of my wrist is 40mm watch. Tried on the 44mm and it's a no go. PAM48 would fit, but wondering if it is too small, or the 392 is too big.I have a sub so the 392 vs sub would be appreciated.thanks!!!
