First Look: Ten Top Vintage Lots From The Phillips Hong Kong Watch Auction One
November saw some pretty exciting auctions and the good news is, the season is far from over. Come December, Phillips' first auction in Hong Kong will offer plenty of incredible vintage grails. Think for instance of the rarest perpetual calendar from Patek Philippe, or a Rolex Daytona Solo, or an incredibly elegant Crash from Cartier London. We should also not forget a dreamy Datejust in pink gold, as well as a seriously enticing chronograph from Vacheron Constantin. Let's focus now on our 10 favorite vintage watches coming up next week. Patek Philippe Reference 3450 Perpetual Calendar In White Gold C One Of Two Known! 1 OF 122 OF 12 Let me introduce you to the star of the show, the incredibly rare Patek reference 3450 in white gold. Total production for this 37.5 mm perpetual calendar was a mere 244 units in the early 1980s, but the vast majority of them were cased in yellow gold. Only two examples have been found in a white-gold case, and this one comes i
Am I ruining the AP look with a small dial? (37mm)
Hey guys.Yes it is me again; I do apologise for making another thread, however your opinions are greatly appreciated, and I am really thinking this one hard now.I am thinking of picking this beauty up as my dress watch / business casual attire watch.I have a BLNR which serves me as an all rounder.Do you think I am killing the look with a small dial? Or you think this works for me?I have 6 ish wrists. On a side note, I would like to ask current RO members on the durability of this watch.I do understand that these watches are gentle and can catch scratches easily, which I have no problem with, however is it easy to dent the watch with a slight hit on the door, etc? Give me your honest opinions.Thank you all
need help again 217 or 368?
I love the two and want to sell some of my watches to finance this, want to sell 028 brand new, Cartier and Breitling not new, the 217 dial is great and it's a legend, but in very good state 14.000 euros, 368 around 11.000, but 368 is titanium and 8 day panerai movement, where 217 is just ETA, don't care about future prices, just want to know what you guys think, both make me go crazy...

Is so fabulous... can't wait for the new BLRO
Need bracelet help!!! Questions; re: PCL vs BCL (I know... Not a new topic)
So I'll try to make this brief... My AD called me about a month ago and told me they had gotten a BLNR in and it was mine if I wanted it. I've wrestled with this watch before and never walked out of the store with one as I already have a 16710. However, this time I bit and picked it up the next day. I wore the BLNR for about 24 hours on a business trip to Chicago, but it just didn't feel right to me. I had a feeling this might happen, so I had left the stickers on, (which I never do). I got home and put it away for 3 weeks and then decided it just wasn't for me. Then 2 days ago, as a last ditch effort, I swapped out the bracelet on my LV and now I can't take it off.All of my sport watches have brushed bracelets, with the exception being a VC that has brushed links, with polished edges, but it's very subtle. I know there are a lot of people on here that love the PCLs, but I just can't get my brain around them. I'd like to keep the original bracelet, original, just in case I eve
