Deciding on next acquisition....
We ALL know how much FUN the hunt is for the next piece to add to the collection...here is my predicament, if you will. I think I have pretty much decided that I REALLY want a ROC to go along with my DIVER...Now...here's the thing. After researching, looking around I'm thinking I want to wait for AP to release the in house chrono movement. Only thing about that is...who knows when that'll be...Face it...I think we all know that when on the hunt for the new watch...you can only hold out so long!Just thought I'd see what everyone's thoughts were.Cheers all
Preowned question
My AD is offering me a preowned Navitimer Montbrillant Datora (the current model), Black dial, Navitimer bracelet that they took in trade and that they just got back from Breitling for service. What would a fair price be?
Incoming LE from Circa 2000
I have looked for one of these off and on for several years. I am drawn to the vintage Connie elements, particularly the pie pan dial and heavy hour markers. Dark blue dial, blue gator band, deployant clasp, all boxes and papers, in 18K rose gold. Circa 2000-2002. First use of the co-axial escapement in an Omega.Getting it tomorrow or Wednesday. Will post actual pics then. Below is an Omega corporate pic. 999 released in this style.
Vintage De Ville Quartz female 22mm
Hi everyone,I am looking for help.My mum has a 1990's omega de ville quartz 22mm watch, we cannot find the battery anywhere. The model number is:53805458, which can be seen from the back.Does anyone have idea which battery we can use for this watch, and what is the calibre number of this watch?ThanksDo not know why I cannot post photo...
I֪ joining the club tomorrow
My local AD called me. They just got the GMT Batman today.None of their loyal customers had it on their hit list. I called him and will go after my scheduled meetings.I plan on paying with an American Express to get an extra year warranty.I guess the biggest question I have is who should I use to insure my new purchase.I֪ not a home owner, and I֪ about to move to the U.K.?If anyone has any recommendations, please let me know.Thank you in advance.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
