Certina DS Rookie Watch

While not as common in the US, there are some real nice Certina timepieces that should be considered when looking for a decently priced quartz watch. This stands for "Double Security" and is more a safe sounding name than impressive technology. It just means that their cases are durable (not sure just HOW durable), are 100 meters water resistant, and have sapphire crystals. Interchangeability of omega parts
Digging around in my parts box I found two 2500b, one 1120, and a couple 2892 a2 movements.I know all are derivatives of the 2892, Do many parts interchange? Can i drop off the pile to an expert and get a couple working movements? Assuming the needed parts are functional.I'd rather reclaim a couple instead of parting out the lot.

Having been only into Rolex and Tudors since the mid 1990s my eyes has once again opened up for the Omegas (I had a Seamaster in the very early 1990s), especially the Speedmaster First Omega in Space Numbered Edition chronograph, as presented at Basel this year.Anyone that have had a chance to try it out, and can offer some comments?
