The Breguet Tradition Automatique Seconde Rtrograde 7097
There are a lot of intense words in Breguet's press release for this watch – "outstanding," "faultless," "peened" – that lead me to believe they are still basking in the glow of that 2014 Grand Prix Aiguille d'Or. Make no mistake, however – the Tradition Automatique Seconde Rétrograde (which makes its formal debut at Baselworld) is a very different watch than the Classique Chronométrie that took home the watch industry's top honors. The movement is exposed, resulting in a cool, neo-luxury look with fine movement specs to back it all up. 1 OF 2 In contrast to the complex movement on display, the shape of the 40 mm, 18k white-gold case is simple and straight-forward, with a perfectly circular polished bezel and straight lugs (with a little bevel at the end). The dial at 12 o'clock for the hours and minutes features an engine-turned detail around the circumference, a circular brushed finish underne
Breitling Superocean Heritage 2, Brown
Does anyone own the Breitling Superocean Heritage 42 with either the white dial and brown bezel or brown dial and brown bezel?I'm looking at possibly purchasing one of these on a brown leather strap. I'd like to see some actual photos of the two different dials with the brown bezel. I've googled and googled and can't seem to find any photos of the white dial with brown bezel.Feel free to post up some pics of your watch in this color. Also if you own this model in any color I'd love to hear your feedback on ownership. I'm thinking 3,300-3,600 seems like a decent discounted price. Thanks in advance!
HELP - Question about Chronomatic 2110
A question for the more experienced members out there. I know that traditionally a Chronomatic 2110 Panda would have orange hands/black bottoms on the white racing dial. I also know that there have been some rare models where white hands were used for specific companies. So, my question.....was the 2110 ever produced (stock) with white hands? Or, are these likely service replacements? I have a set of correct NOS orange/black hands, but wanted to ask the question before making any ill informed change. Movement is Cal. 11. (not Cal.11i). S/N is '69 if the info is helpful. I welcome any input/information on this. Thanks - Jeff
for the Patek lovers, this is a very rare super high end piece ...
First I would like to thank Jacques Degreef otherwise I could not share those pics. It was the first time in my life I saw a Patek 10 days tourbillon. This was already a good feeling. I can't describe how it felt when I was allowed to 'play' with it between 10.00 and 11.30 this morning. Those pics are the best I could do but believe me, this watch gives you shivers.I could always sell my house and buy this watch but I have a strange feeling my girlfriend would not like the idea LOLSo I better stop dreaming. Such a piece will always be out of my league.BUT, if you really like the looks and want something similar (without the 10 days power reserve and ofcourse without the tourbillon) you can always try the 5124.At the fraction of the price you get a very good looking dress watch.
