Casio Announces PRG270 Watch With Third Generation Triple Sensor
Not long after the introduction of their latest ProTrek flagship, the PRW3000, Casio has announced a new entry-level model that also features the updated Triple Sensor V3 technology. The new Casio PRG270 expands over previous PRG models with the latest Triple Sensor system from Casio and comes in a wide range of colors. Offering improved accuracy and speed, the PRG270 offers an appealing go-anywhere package for those who can to do without atomic synchronized timekeeping.Like all ProTrek watches, the PRG270 is a rather large and hyper-masculine sports watch with a plastic resin case that measures 54.6 by 14.4mm and weighs in at a feathery 67g. Designed for avid outdoorsy types, the PRG270 offers a host of systems for quantifying the wilderness including: a digital compass; altimeter; barometer; and thermometer. All of the standard digital watch features like world time, chronograph, countdown timer, alarm, perpetual calendar, sunrise and sunset timing are also just a button press away.
My other Grail isn't a Rolex... I feel odd...
No it's not a Rolex. Its an Omega Speedmaster Professional. The much vaunted Moon watch as it were. I did own one about nine years ago. A 1968 pre moon with an 861. I miss it. Always have. While it's not a Rolex it is still an amazing piece to me. I have my Rolex grail on my wrist as I write this. My 14060 is beautiful. Yet I still desire another Speedmaster. I always wore mine on a Nato or leather deployment style strap. Can anyone tell me why all of the used ones are as much as brand new ones ?? Am I missing something here??Can anyone recommend a seller for Omega here on the boards? I'm not a big fan of Ebay.
New straps for my 422
Picked up some new straps from Aaron Bespoke in Montreal for the 422. His work is top notch.
116300 blue Roman dial
When I first started looking at Rolex , this is the DJ II that first caught my eye , as I reached the amount needed to buy it , I lost focus and started drooling over higher end pieces.I came across another one the other day and reminded me how nice that azzuro dial is, so I'm on the hunt again for one ! At a bargain of course ;)Can some of you owners of this beauty post a pic or two , fluted or smooth
