Speedmaster in Oslo...
Just got back from a cruise of Northern Europe and the Baltic Sea. Upon going through my pics, I almost forgot I had taken a pic of the time as we were pulling into Oslo, Norway... at 7:40am. What a beautiful city.
Some help needed
Hello, I apologize for yet another nautilus thread, but I really need some help from you guys. I live in a country with one Patek AD only (sells Patek only), my name has been on the waiting list for both 5711 and 5712 for more than 2 years and it seems like it will take another 5 years or more as they keep telling me they received none and the list has more than 50 names... I called all of the Patek ADs in Europe out of which only 8 accepted to take my name and I felt that they were not taking me seriously. Keep in mind that I told every AD I spoke to that I am willing to pay a deposit immediately. My name is on the waiting list at the London Salon and they said the wait is 8 to 9 year. I also have my name at the Geneva Salon with waiting time of 5 to 6 years.I do understand the whole Patek approach regarding steel watches and the Nautilus specifically but at the same time I don't understand how this watch is highly available in the grey market. Almost everyday I see on instagram/faceb

116710LN power reserve not great after service.
Hi all,I purchased a new 116710LN in 2008 (with much help from the membership here!) and it has served me very well on a daily basis since.I recently had it serviced by Rolex in London but since it's return (about 6 weeks ago) I've noticed that the Power Reserve seems to be performing very poorly e.g. I wore it from 07:00 to 23:00 Mon to Fri and left it on my bedside locker Friday night through to 14:00 on Saturday as I was playing golf (so using a GPS watch) Sat morning and when I went to put it on at 14:00 I noticed it had stopped 11:40 which is about 1/4 of the Approximately 48 hours the Power Reserve is supposed to last per the Rolex specifications. Could this just be a function of the service and it will somehow loosen up and regain it's previous performance which was never quite 48 hours but would definitely last 36 hours of non use without stopping? Should I be manually winding the watch daily to ensure the Power Reserve is full and if so how long should a wind be? Is there a
