Review: Techn GosHawk (Ref. 411)
Previously on worn&wound we've discussed those watches or watch brands that manage to achieve superb design and quality in a surprisingly / unbelievably affordable price point.? Think Steinhart with their $400, ETA powered pieces, or the $200 Maratac Pilot with a quality automatic and sapphire crystal the size of your head. ?Having spent some time with the $338?Techn GosHawk (and previously Sparrowhawk) I am beginning to think that Techn deserves a place in that conversation.?The GosHawk pairs unique aviator styling and excellent craftsmanship with a quality Japanese automatic movement and superior components.Case: Bead Blasted Stainless SteelMovement: Miyota 8217 AutomaticDial: BlackLume: C3Lens: Sapphire with AR coatingStrap: “Saddle” Oiled LeatherWater Res.: 50mDimensions: 41.4mm x 48.7mmThickness: 12.5mmLug Width: 20mmCrown: Screw downWarranty: 1 YearCaseThe case of the GosHawk is simple and clean, matching an aesthetic seen throughout the watch. Don't want to insult a friend..

Therefore I am confused. Maybe he got ripped off. Also a pic of my 2014 Navy.I am getting the 44mm steel/ceramic soon :-)Love AP!Cheers!Verzonden vanaf mijn iPhone met behulp van Tapatalk
Ladies Breitling question
I have Rolex.....my wife wants a Breitling wings B 67050 or a model D 52345She wants a TT watch........I am trying to learn if the TT on these models are SS and Plated or SS and solid 18K......I do not want the gold to rub off on a $2,500 watch..........I heard both answers from several people......Rolex is my only way to go so I have only used this forum........Is $2,500.00 a price I should expect to pay for a good used one? So, are they Plated or solid gold trim? Any input woud help........
Why is the Milgauss so unpopular?
Is it the thickness, the thunder hands, the price, the heft? Please share your thoughts on why the modern milgauss gets no love, while the vintage milgauss gets lots of love?
GMT Questions and Ramblings
I've been lusting after a GMT for a year or so and finally got the green light from my wife to purchase a milestone watch this Summer. I will finish law school in May and (hopefully) pass the bar at the end of July, results in early August. Knowing this is a popular model, right after receiving the green light, I started in on the hunt with intent to purchase sometime before September 2018 (if I find a deal before then I am ready to jump on it, but no rush). I've been torn between a new BLNR and a 16710 Pepsi. I only have one AD nearby and they have never had a GMT in stock when I've stopped by, as such, I've never seen either a 16710 or the new ceramic GMT in the flesh. For case and bracelet comparisons, I have a M serial 16622 Yacht-Master. Back to the hunt, my wife and I were in Charlotte this weekend and we were able to stop by two ADs near our hotel. The first only had assorted DJs, precious metal Daytonas and a few smaller lady models. However, the second had a new, all black GMT
