Extra-flat Ballon Bleu de Cartier
Ultra-thin watches were one of the more noticeable trends at SIHH this year. Cartier’s new creation in this category is the Extra-flat Ballon Bleu de Cartier. This distinctive timepiece retains Cartier’s signature design elements, and at 46mm, it is a powerful presence on the wrist, despite its diminutive profile. Find pricing and wallpaper images inside. The Extra-flat Ballon Bleu de Cartier is available in pink gold, white gold, and platinum. The gold versions have silver guilloch dials, while the dial on the platinum version is deep blue. All versions have a blue cabochon crown, and water resistance is 30 meters. All three versions are available in numbered limited series. As we go to press, only approximate U.S. pricing is available: pink gold $20,300, white gold $21,800, platinum $32,550.The images below may be enlarged substantially with a click.Extra-flat Ballon Bleu de Cartier watch Case: 18 carat pink or white gold; 950/1000 platinumDiameter: 46 mmCrown: fluted and
Black Dial Differences between 15400vs15300
i've seen white dial differences between 15400 and 15300 which 400 is more silvery rather thaan 300 which is more flat white. What about the black dial? is it different also betwen 300 and 400?and also about the 15300 clasp is it only come with the AP logo model or also come with the new model like 15400 clasp? which is better?thankyou!
seamaster pro service
Hi Guys would like a bit of advice here, I have owned this Seamaster Professional since December 2000, during that time I have worn it non stop and also used it for diving both in pool and salt water at least every week as I was a dive instructor. It has been serviced regualrly and never gave me any issues, I have now decided to rest it after so much hard work and just about to put it in for service, apart from some regular marks from the odd bump the watch is in great condition, however the bezel has faded and has a few marks, would any of you guys be able to advise on either leaving it alone and keeping the used look or complete replacement bezel at the service as I understand Omega do not just repalce the insert and I really would not want to fit an aftermarket insert.
Poll: future of the manual chrono line
Given the recent success of the 5524G and to some degree the 5522 do you think Patek will increase the size of the 5170 for the next generation? If so, do you think that's enough to turn around the demand?
14060 just back from Rolex NY
A few years ago I posted a story about a 14060 Submariner that I had bought for my father for his 60th birthday in 2002. My father passed away tragically in 2015 and I received the watch back. My father had not done a thing to the watch in 13 years. I have had it ever since and only wore it sparingly. I knew it needed a service and the hands had luminous material flaking off.I sent the watch to Rolex via Registered mail (took a week from MA to NY) right before the holidays, and it sat for a week while Rolex was closed for the holidays. I had called Rolex to check on the status and to ask for another link etc. I was told that they were behind and plan on about 4 weeks.Tuesday I received a call from Rolex that the watch was ready and would ship overnight on Wednesday for Thursday delivery. I was thrilled. The watch arrived a few minutes ago from Fedex....and today happens to be my father's birthday, so it was exactly 16 years ago to the day that I presented the Submariner to him.Th
