Giveaway: YEMA Diving Chronograph Watch
Yema USA offers one of these Diving Chronograph watches for you to win during the month of March (ends March 31st). The specific model is this black colored Ref. YMHF0202 that is 43mm wide in steel and water resistant to 300 meters. The rotating diver's bezel has a unique guard over it near the crown while the dial is rather clean and easy to read. Inside the watch is a Japanese quartz movement that features the time, alarm, chronograph, and date. I like the silver on the dial and the blue trim in the crown and pushers. Retail price for this YEMA Diving Chrono watch is $665. You can enter for a chance to win one by following the instructions below. Plus, as an added bonus, YEMA USA has extended a 25% discount on any YEMA watch to all aBlogtoReadwatches-dealer readers who enter the discount code "ablogtoread25" at checkout. To Enter You Must: 1. Seiko Moving Design Discus Watch Is Beautiful, Basic, And Mechanical
I am on a roll talking about all these cool watches from Seiko (and Citizen) that Japan gets, but we don't. If you've been to Japan, you know that they have a ton more watch stores than we do,? and such stores are often combined with other items such as electronic gadgetry. Everything from the mundane to the unique is displayed tightly together and unless you have a good eye, much of the time you need to know what you are looking for - else you miss it.So today we have another interesting watch from Seiko that was released about a year ago, and has had a lot of mixed reviews (from a style perspective). No one argues about the watch quality or function, but not everyone appreciates its simplicity. It is also a contradiction of sorts, as it uses a mechanical movement to produce a (semi) digital time display, but that just makes it more interesting. The watch itself is just a variation on a standard three hand movement. Instead of hands, revolving discs are used to display the time. The ou

Considering the Sub C 114060 - anyone know its weight w/o bracelet?
I've always been a fan of the Submariner since I got into watches. I've owned the 14060m before, as well as a vintage Tudor Submariner. Enjoyed both, and I think a big part of it is that I prefer lightweight watches. I'm considering the purchase of a new Sub C 114060, but I'm concerned about the weight. Alternatively, I could pick up a preowned 14060m. Either way, I'll probably mainly wear the watch on a rubber strap. So that brings me to my question: Could anyone tell me the weight of the 114060 watch head in grams (without the bracelet attached)? It would also be helpful to know the weight of the 14060m watch head for comparison. Thanks!
If Rolex release a Red letter Submariner
Hi everyone. I will have the opportunity to pick up a SS43. Given the baselworld teasing/ speculation, Rolex may release a Submariner with red letter. Will you get the Submariner with red letter or Sea Dweller with red letter?
