Watches NEWS
The end of the journey!
Been through a crazy couple of years, owned and sold a bunch of watches, moved to AP but still felt restless. After some agonizing about it, decided to sell everything (almost down to my soul) and consolidate into what a friend called a pinnacle piece ... one that can be a faithful companion for many many years while keeping me a one watch guy, which has been my goal for a while. Without further ado, here she is. Not much to say about her that hasn't been said already. I am just very very happy! And a blurry mirror shot for a better perspective ...
On this grey, cold & wet day a bit of warmth creeps in
Well what a week this has been. This time last week I had just received my 5205G back. Then followed a week of emails & phone calls. Then finally yesterday this arrived.A R/G 3940.Apologise for the quick photos, but it is not my strong point. To say that I am over the moon, would be an UNDERSTATMENTI also chose a Chocolate coloured matt strap to go on the deployant. Thank you for looking.
Anyone here have a Pam 531?
Looking for some pics or words of wisdom from a 531 owner. Was considering flipping my Rolex SD4K for one. Thanks.
Worn and Wound + Tudor Black Bay R
Received my W&W Russet Model 2 today 22mm. Installed on my Tudor Black Bay Red. I think it looks good and very comfortable. Quality is excellent. Came with 2 new spring bars also. They are located in Brooklyn, NY but only sell online. I took a few pics for y'll.
Am I nuts for considering this? Sub to Exp 2
I currently own a Sub ND and it's an amazing daily wearer that works for any type of occasion. I also have a BLNR that wears very differently from the Sub but my dilemma is that both look very similar. Originally, I never considered the Explorer 2 42mm because I have a ~6.5 wrist and it looked huge when I tried it on. However, the polar version has been growing on me lately and I suspect it has to do with the fact that it has a white dial and looks like the polar opposite of the BLNR. I do want to try it on again but AD's have been short on supply lately.Did anyone go from a Sub to the Explorer 2 and not regret it? Would I be giving up too much just to add a different color to my collection? Curious to see what you guys think.
