Audemars Piguet are all inlaid nicely with carbon fiber
In the middle, the pattern changes to look like a race track curve, a bit like a flag, or perhaps the Microsoft Windows logo (surely the latter).The 44-45mm wide case came in titanium or steel and was made in the 'carbon fiber' era (as I call it). In terms of case size, I am not totally sure, but I think the gold model was a bit larger than the titanium model. The bezel on the top and sides are all inlaid nicely with carbon fiber. This also applied to the chronograph pusher housings on sides of the watch. The chronograph pushers on this model were originally meant to look like gas pedals, but have since been used so much that forget their original theme. I love the woven stitching on the alligator strap. Supposed to look like a racing suit, but (especially on the titanium model) reminds me of a Spiderman web.

New Tool = Perfect Fit
I was in between strap holes on my 44FC standard rubber strap so... Purchased the Bergeon 6730.Dialed up Clearwater and ordered a short strap - thanks for the tip Paul!Mounted a short strap on the 44FC (strap side only) for a perfectly dialed in fit. Almost feels like a took a 1/2 link out of my rubber strap.

Dented Speedmaster Bezel
Hi guys,It's been a while since posting on the vaunted Omega forum, but good to be back! As the title states, I somehow (honestly, I have NO idea how, as I took it out a couple days ago and noticed it) have dented the bezel on my 1989 Speedmaster Pro. As you can see its right around the 130 mark.My question is, is there anything you guys can recommend doing as far as fixing, smoothing out the dent, etc.? I'd love to not start a search for a replacement, but that dent is all I see when I look at it! And, on a side note, is it bad enough to decrease the watch's value with any significance?As always, thanks so much, guy!Andy

An Omega...Sort of..
I always get questions when I wear this watch.... Here are fresh pictures..Lanco was made by the Langendorf Company (LanCo) in the mid 1800's, and ceased production in about 1973.. During it's last years, this company was owned by Omega/Tissot and Omega did market the name with Tissot movements.. This great company was a very progressive company and only fell due to mis-management and not because the movements or watches were second-class. Just wanted to say thank you! I have been researching selling/trading my sub 16610 and found this site. Checked out the thread on Bobs (glad I read that)and another side by side thread with the new 116610. Turns out that I have exactly the watch I want!
