Frederique Constant Heart Beat Manufacture Dual Time Automatic Watch
Frederique Constant's newest watch with an in-house made movement is both useful and attractive. Building upon their core in-house automatic with an "open heart" display of the escapement, this newer model with the Caliber FC-938 automatic boasts the time with a second time zone in a subsidiary dial. Making for a good traveler's watch, the second time zone is displayed in a simple 12 hour format. AM/PM indication is preserved via a small day/night indicator located at 8 o'clock on the small dial.The new Heart Beat Manufacture Dual Time Automatic will come in a range of styles. Most (if not all) of them will be limited editions. I am not totally sure why they do this is as it seems Frederique Constant could go mainstream with the collection. The truth is likely in that they are constantly refining the collection and it makes more sense to build limited batches of these watches.Each of the watches come in 42mm wide case, with steel and at least one 18k gold model. 15400 for 1st AP
Own several Rolex watches, Hulk, YG Sub and am considering an AP but don't know too much about them. Never seen one in the wild. It seems like the 15400 is the entry level watch, correct? I like the watch and the price point. What do you guys think about this model? Are the horror stories about high priced AP service true? Are they really scratch magnets? Resale value? Late model versions in mint or new condition are priced on gray market for 12,000 to 14,000. Buying advice? Thanks

Swung by there last week... I love everything about ap, but I was disappointed with the selection. They only had maybe 12 men's watches. Additionally the woman that helped me, while friendly, seemed to know very little about the brand. Mostly regurgitating a canned sales pitch. This won't turn me off to ap at all but I would like to think with only 4 (think this is right) boutiques in the US, they would have pretty much every watch they offer in stock for viewing. They only had a panda and safari in the offshore case. Wonder why they choose to limit the selection. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
New AP RO 41mm 15400
Was in London today and saw these in Bond street. Had SS, YG on bracelet and strap and a SS chrono version. Also had a 37mm one too. Now I may be biased having bought a 15300 a few months back but I'm not really a fan of the new 41mm models. To me they just look to big and flat. The bezel is thin in comparison to the size of the dial where as on the 15300 it's just about perfect. The 37mm looks tiny in the flesh too. One thing I do actually like are the double baton dials...seems to sharpen up the look a bit.Has anyone else seen these in the shops yet?
Rubber strap for my 5167/1A
Hi EverybodyJust wondering to get a rubber strap for my 5167/1A that comes with a bracelet, so I can swap them anytime. Two different styles with the same watch.Did anybody make that change? and if so, will the same clasp work in the rubber one?Thanks to all of you
