Batman The Dark Knight Rises Limited Edition Jaeger-LeCoultre Watch
For many people, today July 20th, 2012 is another "Batman" day as the latest movie hits theaters. The third Chris Nolan Batman movie opens and brands are eager to capitalize on Bat-fever. In the The Dark Knight Rises Bruce Wayne (played by Christian Bale) wears a Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Grande Date. I look forward to seeing if that is a noticeable detail. As a purchasable homage to the movie, Jaeger-LeCoultre has released a limited edition version of the Reverso Ultra Thin Tribute to 1931 watch (read more about the base watch here). On the rear of the flippable case is an engraved and lacquered Batman logo as is used specifically in The Dark Knight Rises movie. The front of the case is the art-deco looking black dial of the Ultra Thin Tribute to 1931 watch. It comes in a steel case, and should be a nice piece to wear for those who want to recall (supposedly) the final of the three Chris Nolan Batman movies. Why does it need to end here?Surprisingly this is not the first watch Jaeger-Le
Introducing: The World's First Fully Functional 3D Printed Watch: The Christoph Laimer Tourbillo
It was an unseasonably warm Saturday afternoon in Brooklyn, and I was walking my dog when my phone buzzed with a text message from a friend, containing only a link to something on Thingiverse (a 3D printing file-sharing site). I opened the link and my jaw dropped; I was looking at a 3D printed tourbillon watch running by itself, built by Christoph Laimer, a Swiss engineer. This is an actual watch, with a tourbillon, that is almost entirely 3D printed. Think about it: the tourbillon – a 200+ year old invention designed by one of the greatest watchmakers to ever live, which for most of its history has been practically synonymous with hand-craftsmanship and high end watchmaking, has been produced in a working watch with a 3D printer. You can wind it, set the time, and carry it with you. Sure, it's a bit large (a pocket watch, not a wristwatch, and they'd need to be good sized pockets to boot) not very accurate, and only runs for about 30 minutes
Limited Editions James Bond Watches
Has anyone got one of the Limited edition watches or knows anyone with one? If so, could you post some pictures of it, on your wrist? Thanks,Mitch

GRAIL or FAIL?
I was thinking about the first Rolex I ever owned (DJ 16220) and that it wasn't what I expected after yearning so many years. The sports models scratched that itch eventually but I was wondering how many others out there got that grail piece then realized it was more of a fail ?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
