Tourneau, LLC has announced that Howard R. Levitt has decided to step down as Chief Executive Officer at the end of 2009. Mr. Levitt will continue to serve on the company's Board, and he will continue as CEO until a new leader is selected. The company's Board, with the participation of Mr. Levitt, will identify his successor in the coming months. Robert J. Wexler, Tourneau's Chairman of the Board, said, We would like to thank Howard for the significant contributions he has made to Tourneau over the last 18 years. He has been instrumental in the company's growth and we look forward to his continued participation on the Board. Howard Levitt said, I have thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of growing the company into a leader in fine watch retailing. We have a great team in place and the company is well positioned for the future. Established in 1900, Tourneau distributes and retails many leading brands, including Rolex, Patek Philippe, Cartier, Omega, Breitling, Tag Heuer, Audemars Piguet,
Vintage Omega 'De Ville'?
I was going through old jewellery boxes the other night and came across an old Omega watch. It is all gold with the Omega name logo and name at the top, and 'De Ville' with '-swiss made-' at the VERY bottom in small writing. It is a round face watch with lines indicating the hours (no Roman numeral) around the face. It is a small (single?) clap watch, and on the back face of the watch it has written QUARTZ. 1365 (maybe a serial number?)Could any of you be able to tell me what the make of it (or similar) was? Thanks :)

I thought the Seamasters were blue until I saw this water.
Steel to strap, bad?
I've been going through roughly 20 steel Rolex watches, and now starting to feel some itch for a proper dress watch, mostly a LANGE 1. Have you gone the same route...?
My first venture into PP.
Hi guys, recently I had a chance to reflect on my collection and realized I don't have a bonafide dress watch. As fate would have it, I came across the Gondolo ref. 5111g-001 this past weekend and I'm now contemplating pulling the trigger. IMHO, it's a very handsome piece. What are your thoughts and thanks for your inputs and advice. Here's a stock pic.
