The Tiffany & Co. CT60 Collection (Live Pics, Specs, & Pricing)
One wouldn't know it, but Tiffany & Co., the blue-chip New York jeweler with the famed blue box, has a very serious history in fine watchmaking. Today, Tiffany launches into an entirely new era of traditional Swiss watchmaking, with a true American twist. This is the brand new Tiffany & Co. CT60 collection – and there is a lot to like. 1 OF 30 Introducing The CT60 Collection Tiffany & Co. believes in doing things the right way, and this means making a major investment in timepieces. As such, the new CT60 collection – named after founder Charles Lewis Tiffany – is being made by the absolute best craftsman in Switzerland. It also means they will offer a wide variety of options for consumers, meaning different case sizes, complications, metals, and certainly prices. The "60" in the name is in reference to a "New York Minute," a term that Charles Tiffany is credited with establishing. 2 OF 303 OF 30 He

Lately, I've been having a bit of a love affair with Omega's from the '70's. In terms of design, I think it was the high-point of watchmaking and even though I didn't used to be much of an Omega fan I do think they were at the forefront back then.I recently acquired a Bienne-restored Mk II, but when a similarly gorgeous Seamaster 145.024 became available the prospect of having a matching pair from 1972, both in pristine condition, was overwhelming. To be honest, I didn't really have the funds, but I don't even have a minuscule amount of buyer's remorse. The two together are, frankly, amazing. There's been a fair amount of confusion regarding terminology surrounding this watch, but I think it's safe to say that it's the real Jedi. certainly, Chuck Maddox thought so when he wrote about it here. It's rare, and it's a fantastic addition to my existing vintage pieces.I'm on cloud nine.

A week ago I was traveling and went into a Rolex AD (never been there before) and asked the usual question do you have a hulk or as Daytona? Expecting the answer which is what I got no then the nice sales associate followed but we have a Batman that just arrived Me not looking for it and never considering it, I said can you hold it and I will get back to you tomorrow He put it aside and said sure it's yours if you want it I posted here and got overwhelming responses that I should go for it. Went back and put it on my wrist and it was LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT!!Finalized purchase, had it shipped and it arrived todayI paid MSRP but asked for a gift . I got to pick a nice leather strap and asked them to put it on (not a big fan of CPL) and a $600 wolf watch winder and storage to come next week.Today the beautiful watch arrived :) so glad I stopped by and thank you TRF for the great advise!!
