LVMH Watch and Jewelry Sales Jump 29%
Revenue for the Watches and Jewelry division of LVMH, the world's largest luxury group, climbed to �687 million for the first nine months of 2010, an increase of 29% over the same period last year. Overall LVMH achieved revenue of �14.2 billion for the period, up 19% over 2009. The company noted that momentum continued to be very strong in Asia, Europe and America. LVMH reported that TAG Heuer benefited from the new models launched for its 150th anniversary, while Hublot gained market share due to the excellent performance of its Big Bang and King Power lines. The group said that Zenith’s new collections were also very favorably received. The jewelry brands Chaumet, Fred and De Beers also enjoyed strong growth.LVMH shares are up more than 40 percent this year.

Stay true to AP or diversify the collection?
AP will always be my first preference as I love the brand and their astonishing design aesthetics and beautiful finishing and build quality. I'm looking for another piece considering the AP ceramic anthracite dial but I stumbled across this Rolex rose gold day date 40 and their new anniversary green dial. I love the 44mm RG which has been my favourite piece since 2012 when it came out and acquired it instantly. On weekends and special occasions my rose gold 42 mm on strap gets wrist time. I would definitely prefer the AP ceramic to complete the AP trio but will it be all too Same same or Rolex green dial would be a good option to consider. The only reason I ask this question here as all the members here have amazing collections and watch experiences and they can guide and let us know if an acquisition later will not be regretted and if a person will find a certain disconnect with the watch even through initially they were all for it and took considerable time deciding. After all your great work at instigating me to get a new watch while my AP 5402 is at the Clearwater spa, I pulled the trigger a few minutes ago on a gorgeous Blue Tappiserie Royal Oak 15300 that DAVIDSW had for sale. Been looking and i can't seem to find the current U.S. retail. Any help is greatly appreciated.
