History of my 243
Gents, I am trying to find out about my watch. It is an I series 2006 243. Purchased by the original owner at Tourneau in N.Y back in Dec 2006. At some point in its life it has been PVD coated and when I purchased some time ago it was unworn. I am trying to establish where and when the PVD was applied. What do you wear as a "beater"?
As I've begun to travel the world a bit more, I've realized the impracticality of wearing a luxury watch in certain situations. While ideally I'd take my Explorer on all my travels, it's just not realistic for me personally. That being said, what do you use as a cheap beater watch?
