Omega 2599.80 is coming back to me
Well guys, my very first swiss automatic watch was an Omega, and specifically it was the 2599.80. I recently sold it to fund my Breitling CA.I still miss that watch and I've come across an opportunity to purchase another one in mint to perfect condition - boxes, papers and red dot intact.Its on its way back to me and I'll post pictures when I receive it in a week.Let the waiting and nail biting begin.
Explorer 2 (216570) hands onto any other 40mm model
Has anyone ever tried to replace the hands of an older Explorer 2 (16570) or other 40mm sports model with the new Explorer 2 (216570) larger hands? Do they fit?I cannot find specifics of dial diameter / hands length to work out myself - so hoping someone has done this to see if they fit.
