Hands-On: The IWC Portugieser Chronograph Reference 3714
If you’ve been following IWC for the last few years, you know that they’ve taken a somewhat different tack in introducing new watches at the annual SIHH exhibition in Geneva – rather than exert themselves to create new watches across several collections, as is the norm, the firm’s been concentrating on a single collection per year. This year was the Year of the Portugieser, and there were quite a few new watches introduced as this was also the year that IWC chose to begin launching a series of new in-house movements. However, there was one reference that remained unchanged: the Portugieser Chronograph Reference 3714. The watch first saw the light of day in the 1990s, following on from the design of the Portuguese rattrapante chronograph that preceded it. Just purchased a new Aerospace Evo from an AD. It appears no matter how fast I move the crown I can only change the times by minutes, not hours.Any ideas? Thanks!

Pam 312 Hour hand not hitting the Markers dead on after two trips to Service Center
Hi All A while back I told you all about a friend's 312 which spent 3+ months with Panerai service center to address the hour hand not hitting the markers dead center at top of the hour. This was after the first month-long round trip to Panerai where *nothing* was done. The watch came back as it was. Well it's back from the shop and apparently up to old tricks. Now granted his seconds hand was not on the 12 marker in his photos like mine were...but what do folks think. Take a look compared with my watch...A clear issue? Unacceptable??? Opinions?I realize Pams are not the most precise due to dial layout, but what do you think? His:Mine:
