Royal Oak Incoming - HELP
Hi everyone, i'm a long time lurker on this forum looking for some help.I'm about to purchased a Royal Oak Chrono Pink Gold w/Leather strap Ref: 26320OR.OO.D002CR.01. I LOVE the watch, i just have an issue with fitment. I have a 6.25 wrist and rock a Pam 233 daily with the short strap with no problems. When i tried on the AP at the boutique it fit a little lose at the tightest setting but more importantly the clasp was digging into my wrist on the side. I guess my Q is if i'm looking to get a short strap will that significantly change the way the watch fits on my wrist? Will the clasp move down a bit to the bottom of my wrist as a result?I appreciate you help in advance. Here are some photos below of my wrist with an AP.
What will manufacturers do about exotic straps in CA?
It is currently illegal in CA to import certain animal parts for commercial purposes. But, starting 2015, these animals will include crocodiles or alligators... A few examples would be AP ROO and their hornback straps... or Panerai and their gator straps. What do you think? Citation: CA PENAL 653o - 653r Citation: West's Ann. Cal. Penal Code 653o - 653r Summary: These California laws relate to the importation of certain animals parts for commercial purposes. Under the law, it is unlawful to import into this state for commercial purposes, to possess with intent to sell, or to sell within the state, the dead body, or any part or product thereof, of any polar bear, le

... the devil is in the details.I would like to share some (poorly taken!) macros of one of my favorite watches on this relaxing Sunday afternoon. Seen close-up I realize that there are many hidden details in this magnificent watch. I think this is something that keeps many collectors coming back to this brand: great depth in line-up, rich history and the actual watch(es) worn on your wrist have a lot more than you may have initially expected!Enjoy the weekend guys.
Lume power
Anyone notice some models have a much higher lume than others? For instance the lume on my 233 blows my 422 awayOr maybe just the lume on my 422 is bad?
