Lm-Tec Combat B16 + Super Combat B2: Side by Side Review
The Combat B line of watches by Lm-Tec appeal to that macho side of our aesthetics; the side that looks at a mud covered truck or a stealth plane in flight and can't help but think "cool". They are tough, bold tanks-of-a-watch that beckon you to test their capabilities. Born from a history of military designs, they manage to do more than emulate the aesthetic; they live up to the name "Combat".?Yet, they are not dumb brutes, but rather refined watches that can be worn in or out of active circumstances. The Combat B16 and Super Combat B2 represent the current top-of-the-line for the series. The B16 is the mechanical 3-hand version of the standard Combat style and the Super Combat is a new larger titanium version with a hand wound movement. On the surface, they appear very similar, and they both appeal to the same aesthetic, but differences, both subtle and significant, make them very different watches. In this side-by-side review we take a look at the watches, comparing and contrasting

PO8500 rubber strap source.
Been to my local AD and they've quoted almost 400 for a deployment clasp and the new rubber strap for a planet ocean 8500. Does anyone know of any better sources for these straps and deployment clasp in the U.K.? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

How many issues can you spot?I headed over to this AD the other day - just wanting to try on a Speedmaster. Instead, I got the 'overly informative' sales person who knew absolutely nothing. How are they still in business??Capture.JPG
Redundancy...
Hi guys, I really have a passion for 5711/12 models, especially the SS blue dials for both, followed by the RG pieces for both models, and the WG ones are not bad but not on top of my list, I don't like much the 5711 white dial though.Maybe I am crazy but I am considering flipping my 5726 and getting one of the following, 5167 in SS or RG, or 5711 either blue dial or a mint RG version, of course the 5711 would be redundant with already a 5712 in the stable but I really love these watches, even if I prefer by a small margin the 5712 over 5711, I still like it a lot, the 5726 is a great watch, but I prefer way more the ultra thin aspect of the 5711/12 pieces over the much thicker 5726.Having an AC is nice but I realize that I never look at it, I always know what day it is and what month, the only thing I do check sometimes is the date. I love the moon phase but I already have it on my 5712 so it's not something special. From the start I favored complications above all, I thought the 5712
