Introducing The A. Lange & S?hne Langematik Perpetual Now In White Gold With Black Dial
Guten Morgen! And indeed it will be a good one for watch aficionados everywhere. That’s because A. Lange & Söhne unveils a new Langematik Perpetual today. We’ve covered Lange perpetual’s before (check out our Hands-On with the Richard Lange Terraluna) and even a Langematik – the one Walter Lange wears regularly. This latest release will introduce us to a new black-dial perpetual calendar in white gold. The case is a classic 38.5 mm of finely polished gold on the top and a brushed circumference around the side. Three recessed pushers are evident on the left circumference of the case at 8, 9 and 10 o’clock; a fourth is visible at 4 o’clock. These are for advancing the calendar displays either collectively or independently. The case is a rather slim 10.2 mm thick. The dial is black solid-silver. There’s a lot of careful geometry here. Omega Speedmaster Professional: An Enthusiast's Review
Omega Speedmaster Professional: An Enthusiast's ReviewThe Omega Speedmaster Professional is one of the most written about wristwatches in horological history. I will not attempt to write another critical review as this has been done by many others who are much more knowledgeable. This review is about why, as a watch enthusiast, I love my Omega Speedmaster Professional. The Omega Speedmaster Professional is not a modern watch. The first version of this watch came out in 1957 and has changed only slightly in the years since. The manual wind, non-hacking movement is a pleasure to operate. The watch needs your attention everyday and the interaction is something I miss with my automatic watches. Even setting the time requires a special procedure. The time is set by pulling the crown out, setting the hour and minute hand and placing back-pressure on the crown which stops the seconds sub-dial. A chronograph is one of the more useful of mechanical watch complications; I enjoy timing my
Which Omega model holds its value best?
I am considering purchasing my first Omega and was wondering which model/models hold their value best? Thanks!
Speedmaster ID
Hi guys,After showing a family friend my recently purchased a Speedmaster Pro 3570, he mentioned that he also had an Omega Speedmaster that he had purchased new (here in New Zealand) many years ago.Pictures of the watch are below, i'm trying to find out some more info on it and it's possible value.I've searched the internet and came to the conclusion that it looks exactly like a Speedmaster MarkII. The only difference is that this model has an applied Omega logo and DOESN'T have MARKII printed on the dial under Professional, like all the others i've seen.Is it possible that this is a very early version before they started printing MARK II on the dial?Any info would be great thanks...CheersJeremy
