Blancpain Tribute To Fifty Fathoms Watch
2010 sees an interesting release from Blancpain. Given the plethora of "vintage" or "re-release" models, I wasn't at all surprised to see that Blancpain too had dug something out from their past to share with everyone. This is a model in the Fifty Fathoms collection called the "Tribute to Fifty Fathoms Watch." It is modeled after one of the original Fifty Fathoms watches from the 1950s. If you want to know more about the history, the go here.I don't think that Blancpain has officially released anything regarding this watch yet. They often wait a long while to do sowhich is frustrating. This is more or less the same Fifty Fathoms watch you know and love, but with a special "re-issue" dial. Help :-) !!!
i am seriously thinking of trading in my 2012 Rolex DSSD to a 2004 AP ROO SS.i have seen the watch. it's in excellent condition. problem is, i had it vibro tested last saturday and it seems that it loses around 18 seconds a day.the AP has never been serviced, it's a safe queen... never got that much wrist time so the owner agreed to a trade...i'm adding a little cash of course.should i go for it or this'll just give me problems in the future...???tnx for the time guys....
Sell 3 watches for a PP 5711?
Hello all. My fiancee and I are expecting a baby boy in early January. I have thought about purchasing a new timepiece to celebrate the occasion (I have already taken care of the gift for mommy).Initially I was going to buy a steel Rolex. But now I have it in my head to buy a PP 5711. In order to do this, and as wedding expenses and new house expenses are impending, I need to sell some watches to get it.I'm looking at BLNR, Deepsea and AP RO Dual Time to get this watch.Would you do it? Would you not? Thanks for all your opinions.
