Glycine Airman Base 22 Watch
You either really like Glycine pilot watches or you don't. Some people swear by them. From a price/quality standpoint, Glycine is a pretty good value - no matter what watch in their collection that you like (pilot watch or not). The Airman Base 22 is the most recent iteration of the Airman watch and Glycine went retro. Of course they did, everyone else did this year. It comes in at least three types, with black or white dials. There are 12 and 24 hour versions, with and without a GMT hand.See my Glycine Airman Base 22 watch article on AskMenwatches-dealer here.See Glycine watches on eBay here.See Glycine watches on Amazon here. Don't trust AD's to change and fit the strap on your watch.
2 weeks ago I purchased my 5167a from an AD and they fitted the strap. I quickly realised after wearing it that fitting in an air conditioned AD it was perfect fit, but in normal temperatures it was too tight. Went to my local AD today as the new strap had arrived for my 5167a (at a cost of 180). This was not the AD that cut the first strap where I bought it from, as it is much further away and she was wanting to send the watch to Patek to get the new strap changed over as she was not confident in removing and fitting a new strap to the lugs. When I arrived I explained the situation regarding fit and also I was nervous about getting any marks/scratches when changing strap and sizing. He explained that he has never scratched a watch before (in 30 years in the business), but no-one can guarantee it 100 per cent as we are all human. I explained that I am OCD with watches and asked him to tape the lugs and be very careful. I asked him to confirm before he started that the watch had no m
PAM 243 and DSSD
Looking at a DSSD for next watch in my small collection. Biggest watch I own is currently a PAM243 and I'm wondering how they compare? Anybody happen to own both? Maybe even have a pic of them side by side? Feedback appreciated. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

I'm a new member here and looking to purchase my first Rolex. I first saw the submariner on my dad's wrist as a kid and thought it was a cool watch. My dad purchased it in 1967 for less than $500 and still wears it to this day. He was a dive master so he used it for its intended purpose. It's in bad shape, but I still admire the watch and as a result would like my first Rolex to be a sub.i1064.photobucket/albums/...psbhioxq0t.jpg
