AP Movement Pics Thread
Hey guys,I was taking a link out of my 15400 bracelet this morning and while I had a clear view of the case back, I decided to take a few pics. I thought it would be cool to start a thread showing off pics of our AP movements. Here is the best one of my pics...let's see yours.

Just bought a 5146 - no clasp!
Hi I got carried away at a viewing today and ended up buying a 5146 annual calendar from Watch&passion (i can't post links but a google search will find it).I am delighted with the watch, but i can't help noticing it didn't come with1. A deployment clasp in gold with emblem2. the two things that slide into the watch cushion (tag and tool?)is this a deal breaker, and should i return it?I really want the clasp, as i think it makes the watch look special from underneath, maybe i can buy it separately? what are your thoughts? Thanks in advance.
Patek 5170P or 5650G ?
Reveal that you are offered to purchase a Platinum 5170P or an Aquanaut Travel Time 5650G ?What would you buy and why ?
The Panerai look......Why sometimes you can't see the forest through the trees.
I must confess, for years I couldn't see any appeal of the Panetai style. They looked too plain and that strange Luminor crown lock. I was wearing mainly Rolex and dive watches with turntable bezels or three dial chronographs. Fast forward 10 years and one day I saw the Panerai on the silver screen and thought that design was really functional looking and not too bad. In fact, that dial was so simply clean, almost like a minimalist painting. The less is more couldn't ring more true. It was like the first time when you understood what art could be. A few years went by and Rolex was releasing more busy dials with gratuitous wording every where they could put it. Breitling was even worse. They looked busy and cluttered up like a billboard. That's when I had a moment of clarity and remembered that Panerai on the silver screen. I actually dug out the old Eraser DVD to view the watch on my 70 flat screen. Pausing the watch, I studied the design and thought it was pure genius
