Opinions on the Cal. 2385
I am seriously considering purchasing a RO chrono with the Cal. 2385 movement. I realize this is an F. Piguet Cal. 1185 base movement tweaked by AP and that this movement is also used in other watches, like the VC Overseas chrono.Any thoughts or opinions on the 2385? Reliability, accuracy, etc. Does it matter that this is not an AP movement inside a storied AP model?I appreciate your comments.Thanks.Cheers,-Marc

Buying spring bars from Rolex
I went to Rolex Vancouver with the intention of purchasing spring bars for my 116610 and 116710. It's not that I needed those I just wanted to stock up just in case. The guy I was talking to said they dont have stocks and have to be ordered, which is fine. But I find it odd he was asking for serial nos. I gave him the model as I thought he had to order based on the model. He insisted for the serial nos and said they can't place an order without the serial number. Also the price he gave is CAD$60++ for a pair of spring bar and have to pay shipping of CAD$40++ for a total of $100 for pair.Do you have the same experience when buying spring bars at Rolex?Maybe because am not their valued customer?!
Tudor 1 Week
I'm really happy I picked this up last week. Most people on here seem to like the Black first which I do as well then Red and then Blue. After owning a red for a short period of time I'd have to say the Blue passes it by just a hair. Panerai has really got me hooked as well for last couple of months. After owning Rolex for 15 years I figured it was time to switch it up for a bit and glad I did. Still kicking myself in the ass for last year when my AD had a few Hulks and he was going to sell it to me 7500 but o well when Rolex gets their heads out their butts I'll make it happen. Rubber B for GMT II Ceramic and Daytona Ceramic
Greetings All! I have a Rubber B strap for my GMT II Ceramic and I'm considering putting it on my new Daytona Ceramic.Does anyone know for absolute certainty whether it would be the exact same strap for both? I can see the lugs on the GMT II are longer than the Daytona, but the spring bar location relative to the case looks the same..Please advise. Thanks!
